I have one question - I have a green background (one color) and I have a picture in the middle of the page.
No the question, is it (in any way) possible to make a soft transition from the picture to the background?
I will have an effect, like fading out from picture to the coulor of the background - I hope the idea is understandable...
I'l try it with a polygon and (global) transparency an a radial filling method, but the result ist not really what I whish to reach.

Using javascript and setting the element.style.opacity is possible.
You can also simulate the transition using a SlidePanel object;
put the panel over the background, use two panels, in the first put the image, the second remains empty
choose the "Fade" slide option. |

Sorry, but that was a misunderstanding. I wanted to have an image, which adapts to the background. Not an animation!
But your advice was great too - the feature I had not tried;)
As I said, I want a picture of the center (completely opaque) to create up to the edge (fully transparent).
But for images, you can't set a radial transparency gradient, when I understand it right.

Okay, I found it - The effect it has been ;) - Top/Right/...-slide-transparency 'is my friend'...
But can anyone explain to me the difference between 'Top Slide Transp' and 'Top Slide Transp N.A.'? I see no difference.

N.A. stays for "Non Adaptive", this means that if your image has transparent areas like a "circle" the standard slide effect will start when non transparent pixels are found of the entire image;
the standard one, for each row/column, will start every time a non transparent pixel has been found.
Check by yourself by drawing a filled circle on a page then by applying the two effects ;-) |
