Can someone help? I just purchased the software and totally new to it

I try to have the index page as a first page, but insert the ASP login 1.0. When I try to export, it I get an error the page has to be .asp and not html. So I switched the page to .asp, could export, but when I publish it is not recognized as my first webpage anymore, what is wrong, How can I correct it, that the first page is a sign-on page before you go to the next pages

Thank you in advance

Walt

Filwa,

please check the help; .ASP or .PHP pages cannot be seen directly pointing the file but also through a WEB server (so your address has to start with http://localhost for example)

Hello and thank you, still don't get it.
I will create a website and from my knowledge the pages are always starting with the index page, so how can I put on my 1st webpage the lock-in, publish it to a directory on my PC and access it with a web browser

Every help is appreciated

Yes but if you use .PHP or .ASP pages you need to access them through a WEB server.

So you can test these pages locally if you install in your PC a PHP web server program or by uploading these pages to your hostinbg provider and access them normally (http://www.mysite.ext)

For installing a free PHP server at home check Google:
