When I double-click on a cell in a table, the text opens up in the editor. However, when I click on the word that has a link or event associated with it, DHE clears the link/event, and I have to re-enter the whole thing again! |

Can you post some screenshots? This seems to be quite strange to me. What Windows version are you using? |

The links and events are there, but they don't show up in the entry box. I'm afraid I'm going to overlay the old events/links with the additions I want to make.
Regarding this "lame" excuse for a forum (you really need to change to one that's more powerful)"
1. How do I insert an image from the clipboard?
2. How do I upload a file? |

What??? Excuse???
1-2: you cannot, this feature has been disabled; if you have a domain simply put images on your domain (you can also use many free sites) and link the screenshot from the forum
For your problem: Try to select exactly the part of text containinig events; if this don't work make a test: try to select only a few letters of the part containing the event and check if the event properties are reported to the Link Wizard. |

Davide: "lame excuse" is American slang for something that is supposed to work, but doesn't work the way others think it should. No insult or disrespect on my part intended.
Regarding the problem: there was a blank at the end of the one word of text... when I backed the cursor up, voila! There were my links! (I should have known this!)...
Sorry for the post... |

it is very easy to use jing free version to take a screen capture and upload it to screencast in one shot and post a link
http://www.jingproject.com/features/
just set up the screencast account for free when you set up jing--I believe it asks you..
confirm lame excuse just means there are better forums out that--also confirm it could have been said a better way.. |

Did not think I was condescending at all-if you looked around just a little bit you would have seen that there are no images posted in the forums--only links [that was a little condescending ]. I don't know why that is since image tags work
jing is faster imo and what I use. I thought I was showing you some dhe forum love by telling you.
Normally you use the insert image tags from the editor and add a link in between them and the pic shows up

joneq: I was referring to your statement "also confirm it could have been said a better way.."
I know how to use images; I was hoping that rather than go through all the trouble of making the image, uploading it and then placing the link, one could just copy an image to the clipboard and paste it! That would be real progress!
