I am somewhat curious as to what will be part of the new build (4) of DHE.
Could you give us a hint Davide ?

Sorry but some people are copying my work in their commercial product so no suggestions for anyone ;-)
Martin, you'll be one of the first person who will see new features ;-) maybe in beta version (when the new version will be ready [3 :-x])
But there will be fantastic new features! |

Apart from that, DHE is the best HTML editor ever, keep up the good work, I luv my lil' DHE lots and lots and lots :o)

Is there going to be a flashy movie of the all new and wonderful DHE ? Can I watch it on DVD ?? I'm so excited I tell you, I can't wait :oD
I'm hoping to persude a neighbour to buy DHE to build their site with, I keep telling them to not install Frontpage.....aggghhhh, tonight I will try to sell them DHE (again!!) , here's second time lucky Davide ;o)

I have to agree with that whole splash screen thingy. There has been a whole topic on it and even some minor 'ugly' words from Toon. http://www.hexagora.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=928&SearchTerms=topic.
I find it slows me down when I open the program. But obviosuly it is not a major issue just some food for thought

Thanks for posting the thread Martin, I'm sorry to hear Toon was less then polite towards you, this forum is generally really great and fun place to be or just lurk, and I have always found your post's to be within the spirit of our lil' family here, keep up with your great posting's Martin, I enjoy them always :o)
Well, for me, the splash screen is slooow for some reason...I mean after reading the other post's, it's like I can launch DHE, open up a document, and go to use a tool or whatever, and the darn spalsh screen still takes a few seconds or so to go away, I don't know why :o(
When I installed BoClean recently it made things a lil' bit worse, but I have had some problems with that puppy full stop, so I have un-installed it....wah :o(
Oh, well, I guess considering how much I love and enjoy DHE, I will put up with the splash screen :o/

Davide! I do not know if you already have this feature in the software you pay for... but, when you open D.H.E., could you make it so we see the five most recent files, and an option to create a new page? You probably know Macromedia Dreamweaver, it's made just like that and Gosh, even if the software's a pain that's one nice feature. :o) Also, at least in the free software, I noticed that you can open a "recent file" only when there is no other file open. It would be good if one could do it when working on another file.
Saving up to buy the new software now! I'm trying to grab a job that pays quite good, if I get it that's the first thing I buy with the money! Also, I read somewhere that you would make a more recent version free. When's that coming? |

Just tested and the recent list works also when you're working on an opened file
>Also, I read somewhere that you would make a more recent version free. When's that coming? First of all I need to finish the major version ;-) |
