Hey comrades!
New to DHE community. Coupla questions.
First is:
Once trial period of DHE was over on my home laptop (XP Home SP 2+) I installed it on my second laptop (XP Pro + only critical updates) used with business trips mostly as typewriter (Office and such). Temporary project was moved there as well by means of flash disk. Now I can?t use such features as Fill Wizard, Effect Wizard; I can?t change ?Visibility of object in browser? of older objects from home PC project. May be smth else (didn?t dig that much deep yet). It?s all OK with newly created objects.
So is it a feature (some tracing copyright facility?) or a bug? I definitely wanna buy DHE but I intended to register it with my home PC with working sometimes on my project on my work PC with even expired trial version. Now it seems to fail and being tired up strictly with only one laptop makes my life soooo difficult.
Second is:
Buttons from horizontal menu link to submenu pages which mostely are the same (e.g. button ?Roma? leads to subpage ?Roma? with submenu, where buttons ?Team?, ?Trainer?, ?Records?, ?Goals? etc. are located. Same with ?Internazionale? button and page with submenu, same with
Lazio and Fiorentina and even Chievo [3 ~-)] ).
So it?s very easy to create one template for all Serie A teams changing only some properties of such submenus like say color scheme. But do I need to have UNIQUE ID for every single button calling them ?chievo_team?, ?roma_team? or ?bary_team? or it?s possible to have ?button1? ID for every such object on DIFFERENT pages?

welcome to the forum...
Your questions:
1- Very strange problem, I can say you that when the program expires it has some limitations but now I can't remember them; In every case you can register the program where you want, the only limitation is that you must be the only one that uses it.
If you want I can try to discover the problem directly into your PC using a VNC session from my PC to your PC
2- If you intend to use a common menu for many pages in your site I suggest you to create the menu in a pahe then insert this page into other pages using the ".dhe file object", in this manner the images are reused. |
