Hello, I am pretty new to this software.

I tried searching for earlier posts but did not find anything.
I am trying to preview my simple html document, but when I press F11 a yellow pop up blocking shield occurs. I have disabled yahoo, google, and IE pop up blockers. Also disabled symantec antivirus and firewall. Still nothing..

Any suggestions ?

Go to Tools then to Options and look on the General tab.
There is an option called Alternative Browser for Preview. Click that little button and look to see if your browser is listed at all.

That's all I can think of.

Hi Martin, yes IE is listed as the main browser. I think it has something to do with the Active X controll...I turned my pc off and on again..Now I get the option to view and not just a yellow shield blocking the preview.. So it is fine now.. Probably my pc acting up again..

yes....

Sorry but I haven't found an option to turn the yellow bar off.
I think you should add the localhost to the trusted zone for Internet Explorer.
This only occurs when you preview pages locally; when you'll upload them to the internet all will work ok.

Regards, Davide
