Is it possible to create a link to a site, and show it within my site? What I mean is can I create an object or something within my site that shows another site?
For example if I want to have a guestbook in my site, but find it to hard to create one on my own. Is there a way I can import one of those free web guestbooks into my site, so that it shows like a part of my site, and not as a seperate page?
I can create boxes where I can type html codes and such so that it shows within my dhe editor, but I havent found anything where I can create a box that shows a linked site.
Thanks for answers :) |

Sure there is, insert an iframe and have it link to the url you want. It's really simple and works perfectly. |

Is there a way to make that page usable when linking it too? The guestbook I linked does show within my site, but I am unable to sign the guestbook. |

Yeah, but the guestbook works fine when signing it in the original adress, only not when I try to sign it within my site. Can you perhaps explain abit more how I create a link to it with the IFRAMe? Maybe I did something wrong there...
Thanks |

Perhaps the i-frame isn't the top layer on your page?

Another option is to copy all guestbook files into the export directory of your site and link the guestbook file (in the link wizard) directly by writing its name. |

Hi,
I have been trying to insert a javascript slideshow http://www.leigeber.com/2008/12/javascript-slideshow/ into a page already built with DHTE. I am trying to replace a static image previously inserted there with the slideshow.
Although I can make the slideshow run perfectly in the index.html file that comes with the script by editing and replacing I could not for the life of me work out how to insert that into my page and make it work.
So...I decided to follow the advice in this thread and insert the html page which contains the slideshow into my page in an iframe. This works fairly well for me, but there is an issue which I need to fix...
How can I get rid of the scroll bars at bottom and right for the html page I have inserted in the iframe?...I dont want it to look like this is a separate page inserted inside another.
Thanks for your help. |

In the code of your Iframe add: scrolling="no" |
