i run a small website in our beachtown called http://www.cannonbeachweather.com In looking at my stats I get from my ISP I see that I have a few MAc users and one is a important editor of the local paper. He and other mac users say they are having trouble bringing up my website. Anyone else have trouble/problems with maqc users or is there somethinging in my code that is keeping them out ?
I'm using a Mac at work, i can see your website but it is loading very slow. (We have a 6 mbit dsl line) Perhaps you should have a look at your images, they seem to be a little big.
I will try it at home, there i use a XP-machine. I normally do not have any problems viewing DHE sites on a Mac.
when designing absolute positioned web site (ie. using D.H.E. and placing only absolute positioned objects inside the page) check your pages with more browsers because some systems use fonts with different size so maybe parts of text overlap images and so on.
The better way to create a site compatible with all systems and all resolutions is by mixing absolute objects with relative objects (see the position indicator in the left toolbar)
Another way is to create text using graphical label (you can transform labels to graphical labels using the edit menu) ;-)
The version 3.x fixes many bugs but the problem remains if you create only absolute sites.
