what do you intend exactly? I like much more relative urls because it's simpler to move and test your site locally and in internet. I think this is the best way to create a link (relative).
Relative and Absolute links have the same speed but it's simpler to use relative links because you can test your site locally and in internet without making changes to your site. You can also move your pages from a directory to another one without no changes.
