Well, while I am trying to figure things out, this came up...how to play this type of flash file on my webpages...any ideas....or am I as usual missing something?
1. Click on "Generic objects" in left panel 2. Select "Flash" 3. Draw a box (with equal size to your flash file) 4. Select your ".swf" file then press "open" in Windows file browser 5. Press preview (F11) 6. IE explorer prevents to run ActiveX, then accept to view this file.. and that's all
If you mean to play FLV files with HTML pages on server, you will need some extra components..
visit http://www.flvplayer.com/ You can get some free and non-free components and source files for that
For example if you use FLVPlayer from Peldi you need to add some HTML code using HTML editor tool (left panel) on your DHE
Another option is FLV player by VideoSpark (progressive) which uses 2 swf files and some php files
Thank you, have no experience with video files for the web. Had read somewhere that flv format was a good one. I will need to have several different ones on the website that I am building for my business....I turn photographs, old video into DVD's.
