I tried to make a link to a porta fotoalbum on my own website. I want to connect with several porta albums on my site. Everything I tried doesn't work. The only thing that worked is to make a iframe "open generic" and make a link to the album. Problem is the size of the frame. I can't make a direct link from a text, a picture of a HTML box. Please, please give me some advice, I am trying for several weeks. |

I think it's very simple... Create a link, choose "Files on my computer" and write the path and name of your album in relative mode. So if you've put the album in a subdirectory of your site called "myphotos" and the first page of your album is called "index.htm" write "myphotos/index.htm" |

I found the problem. It's a bug in the program.
When I make a link HDE makes the following link :D:WEBSITE(backslash)Website(bs)UPLOAD(bs)fotoalbum(bs)country en western(bs)index.html. That is wrong, it has to be: http://www.walthervlaanderen.nl/fotoalbum/country en western/index.html.
It makes backslashes and they have to be slashes.
It took me a lot of (waisted) hours. Right now the link is working allright.
PS even this editor can't write backslashes |

Which version of DHE are you using because I have never encountered this problem?

I don't seem to experience the same problem as you.
I create a label with some text and make a link of part of the text. I use the Files on internet and fill in the destination url and set the target frame (usually self or blank).
Then export the page and all is fine.

Hello Dik,
I've tried to make a link using "Files on my computer", I've linked a page into the export folder of my project then I've exported the page into the export folder of my site. All seems to work correctly, D.H.E. has transformed the absolute Windows path I've chosen to a relative HTML one. |
