Hi, I was wondering if it was possible in a future version that you could add some predefined javacalls to the event section. The one I'm using right now is history.back() , which I use with the onClick event, but would be great if I could just select it off the drop down list then having to manually remember it and enter it using Javacall.

I would like to apologise for not responding back to you about the Image sizing problem I was having when I was importing images, basically my PSU died on me, thankfully the new one didn't take to long to arrive, I'm sorry big time. I have tried using SHIFT like you said and it worked a treat, thanks for your help lots and lots, its much appreciated :o)

Hugs,

Hello,

yes, I can add some predefined javascript calls... Can you give me a list of your preferred ones?

As I have mentioned before I think a call to open a new window of a specific size and location on the screen and even being able to remove the scrollbar, statusbar, menubar, toolbar, option to resize and so on this new window would be an excellent feature.

I have a few I would like to see added to DHE:

history.go(x) - where "x" is a number of pages to go forward or backwards in history (eg. history.go(-1) ), or just 0 to refresh current page.

window.open() - is there a way you could add a wizard/box to alter parameters like url, width, height, toobar etc.... ?

window.close()

Hmmm thats basically all for now, I'm just starting to use javascript, but maybe at a later date I might need more calls. Through they probably will be more navigation type calls, something like moveBy(), moveTo(), resizeBy(), resizeTo(), scrollBy(), scrollTo() and print().

I'm sure window.open() and window.close() are what Martin is looking for, and agree these would make an excellent feature too :o)

I think window.print() should be added to the list too. It would be useful and great for people like Fouch.

My list of calls are currently:

history.go()
window.open()
window.close()
window.print()

I'm trying to keep the list small and only have useful calls we all could use, I feel there's no need to bloat DHE with fancy effects that only myself or a few would use, that would really suck :o(

Wow....thanks Davide, that means so much to me, I will be looking forward to that day and DHE version lots and lots, I really can't wait :o)

Hmmmm a DHE v3.x you can actually register? and here's me thinking it was just a myth like the Abominable Snowman....hehe.....I'm just kidding honest :oD

You have done a really great job so far with DHE, I really like it a lot, the best HTML editor I have found to date. Through I sometimes wish it had a couple features from the old AOLpress editor, like its project manager that allowed you to view the site as a spider chart etc..., great feature, but apart from that its old, dated and sucks badly against newer editors like DHE :o/

Hi Davide,
hope so much, that registering will be come soon...
As an improvement: Did you even think over a function for showing the source code in the editor? That would be very good for looking for right positions of tags and so on... By the way: a function of inserting tables would be very nice...

I like DHE so much ...

I downloaded 3.1 last night, I was having so much fun trying it out that I didn't notice it was 2'ish in the morning....haha, I'm crazy.......no wonder I'm kinda tired this morning :oD

Thanks for another really great version of DHE, lot of really nice features to use, I specially like the stencil feature, what is really neat is being able to combine effects with stencils.....cool :o)

I guess I should also say thanks for adding the javacalls to DHE, you just know I will be having fun using those, DHE just keeps getting better and better, I just wish I could use DHE to its full potential, maybe one day I can be as good as you Davide :o)
