I am new and know nothing. Building my website is taking me forever (cause I have little time for this hobby :)

now I ot 2 "big" questions

one part of my website will offer books for everyone to read; the other will be pictures collection.

(1) I was thinking of adding each chapters in pdf as hyperlinks? is this a right way to do it? and if so how do I do this?
and what about the updates when I will add in chapters?

PS - one book I wrote (is a 2 tomes)represents some 1000 pages... and I have 7 books I want to put on the website one chapter a month

website opens on a main page (index) and leads to 4 others sub-pages (photos + documents + links + contact me); this is already build.

so...
(2) how do I link all sub-pages to the main page? (I know I read this somewhere but I can't find the answer now in the forum)

Thanks in advance for all the help and to leading me to the right answers in the forum
and may be to indicate me the best way to organize my books setup...

may be a reply to my email?
C.

Seeing as your books seem to be rather large I think the best way is to use pdf files indeed.

You can simply link to them.

Linking your subpages is also rather easy. Just create the text you want to use as a link to these pages and select the textpart that needs to be the link hit the menu option >>links<< (can be found at the top) and then choose >>link<< and choose the option >>Files on my computer<< (try to make sure the subpages are in the same folder as the pages made with dhe will b).

That's all.
