Hi,
Me also being a fervent Flash man, I'm used to:
paste in place CTRL-ALT-V? or CTRL-V paste to centre!
Example: I make a button in flash with rectangle tool, after drawing my button, I simply select all,> CNT-X, then CNT-V and everything is nicely in the middle of the stage![3 up]
I'm doing my best, but can not find the way to centre my first item (except manually with the arrows and guides)
It would be nice (when importing) or whatever that items are centred by default and have a paste choice !!
Or am I missing something here? [2 ?:-|]

Hello Wal,
DHE has two paste options:
1- CTRL+V -> Paste Here, so objects will be pasted at the start of the page
2- CTRL+P -> Paste, so objects will be pasted where they were when copied
For center objects use the guides and the align tools
For center the page choose "Center Page" in the page properties

Paste/import to centre / in place function!!
