When I change the name in the ID field (properties panel) and click the little red arrow in the export name field the name does change into the name I created in the ID field but also changes back almost instantly.

So I need to click the little red arrow twice for the export name to 'stick'.

Are you also changing the name in the upper-most box before changing the export name? I find this to work for me.

On another subject of bugs???? I dont know if anyone else has experienced this, but at times when I launch Dynamic HTML Editor, rather than coming to the foreground as a process it stays in the background and never shows on the desktop.....bring up task manger and its running. The priority is normal...should I try setting the priority to the next level incremently until it no longer launches this way?

Hello martin,

the problem with the export name comes up because when you change the name in the ID field it's required that the ID field loses the focus if you want to assign the new id to the object but pressing directly the red arrow, the event "LostFocus" is raised after the event "Click" so it assing the old name to the "Export Name" property then it changes the id to new one...

I never had until 2.6....so far with 2.7 I haven't, but I did come up with something odd last night that i could use a clue about. I have a Dynamic HTML Editor-File that I use as a template for my pages. Anytime I want to change the look of all my pages I just edit the template and export. Last night I attempted to add a graphic (.png), the procedure was normal...something I've done hundreds of times...I positioned it then hit preview...everything displayed except the graphic I had just imported. I tried bringing it to the forefront...no luck...I tried a different graphic format...no luck. I even made the graphic a Dynamic HTML Editor-File to import it into my template and that was successful, but I couldn't link it...directly or with a hot-spot. I'd rather not import it as a Dynamic HTML Editor-file though. The odd thing is the original one that was there I am still able to manipulate it and preview it....what am I overlooking? Besides the obvious. :p

Have you checked if the object has a "relative" positioning method? Relative objects are always below other objects; you cannot take them over...
Try to send me the two pages and let me know how to test the problem ;-)

The object has an absolute value as do the other three images....I tried relative when absolute seemed not to work...no luck. What I did do is reconstruct the header again from the beginning and it works fine now. Evidently it was something in the way I had saved/modified the original header....dont ask me to remember how. :p
