Hi,
i downloaded the Dynamic HTML Editor Site Builder Trial V. today and have been workin on my first HP for 6-7 hours now...i?ve got a big problem
i used a template (i think it was business or something), and i keep testing the page (via export, i dont have a domain/webspace yet)..everything was fine, i had no problems with Firefox
then i decided to try the IE 6, but its all f**** up, theres a message that some content was blocked, the images are not shown right..then I allowed IE6 to show all content, and it crashes immediately..
theres an error message: AppName: iexplore.exe AppVer: 6.0.2900.2180 ModName: dxtrans.dll ModVer: 6.3.2900.2180 Offset: 0000185f
maybe someone here can help me with this problem, that would be great
EDIT: ok, i just found out the problem is that IE6 doesn?t support PNG-32..i exported the hp again and turned the png support down, now it works with the IE too, but the graphics look edgy...is there a solution to this problem? greets jimbo
btw, I am a total noob with html and stuff |

My IE6 works perfectly... DHE is 100% compatible with IE6 and uses an external component png32.htc that turns-on the PNG32 support for explorer. I've made many sites and they work perfectly with all browsers
Try to update your Windows using the "Windows Update" service or try to find another new copy of the "dxtrans.dll"
You can also avoid the use of PNG32 but for having a good resolution you have to remove the transparency from the shapes/images by unflagging the "Transparent Canvas" flag. |

Hi,
thx for the answer..yeah i know that Dynamic HTML Editor includes a png32.htc compatibility file, but it just doesn?t work. I?ve updated WinXp an IE6, the dxtrans.dll is the newest available, but it still crashes. Guess I?ll have to do without png32 for the time being. Removing the transparent canvas isn?t an option, whats the point in using png32 without transparency?
anyway, thx for the tips |

Your PC has some problems with the "dxtrans.dll" library
Try the follow to fix this problem: - delete the file dxtrans.dll - clean your registry using a registry cleaner like "registry mechanic" - restart windows - re-register dxtrans.dll using the following steps:
a) start -> run -> write "cmd" then press enter b) type "regsvr32 C:Windowssystem32dxtrans.dll" |
