Hi all, First of all, let me say this is a great program, I would love to start using it all the time, but most of the sites i design use CSS external style sheets, how do you assign an external sheet and then for example, change the background of an object throughout the whole site. I love the program and it could save me hours of work, but I guess I am missing how you link it to other pages, so that I can apply styles to all the pages. I see they have some support for CSS, and most of the code is CSS, but i dont understand how to use it for multiple pages. so all I would have to do is edit the css file to change parts of the Whole Site? Please help as I would LOVE to use this program all the time!![2 0oo0] btw this is for Dynamic HTML Editor 2.3.31 Thanks |

I've sent you an email for this question...
There are many possibilities for doing this, some of these:
a- create a common header, add your script/style link and add the file to all pages using #object_id for your class names b- for the common background use the option "use a common background" in the export project options

Can you please elaborate on the response you gave? You need to add more to the Help file for creating and using style sheets. |

First, I think your program eliminates the use of a lot of CSS in many ways. However, here in the US - everyone is now programming with separate CSS sheets and using them heavily. They want to change one sheet and have entire site change.
I know I can add my own CSS file link in the header section of the page options dialog box. The styles could be implemented in the HTML editor box. But the program's CSS file always comes after the one I list. Of course, I could make that change easily enough in text editor after exporting to avoid unwanted cascading of the styles.
Am I seeing everything I need to see regarding CSS sheets and your program or do I miss something? |

No you don't miss anything, the program always creates stylesheets for label objects. There was a new feature for the version 4.0 but I had no time to create it for now. |
