i found a similar posting, but i think just similar! not exact the same ... so i post my question/problem now ...
when i export a site, Dynamic HTML Editor creates a folder called "files" and puts in all images used within the site. why?s that? i have all these images already!? or am i working in a wrong way?
i use the "picture"-tool and load an image ... thats it!! is it possible to export the HTML-file without re-creating these images, but with the correct linking to my pre-prepared images?
hmm . . i?m not sure if i found the right words!? :o)
byebye for now and thanks for this really awesome program!! martin
When you insert an image in a page Dynamic HTML Editor create a small copy of this image and export this; in the new version you can choose to link only the images you insert in the page but in this version you can't. I think you should insert all images you want in your pages and let Dynamic HTML Editor do all for you. Another new export copy only the files that are changed since the last export.
So if you export a page pippo.dhe in pippo.htm and re-export this without modification Dynamic HTML Editor leave the original one so you can upload only new files in your site.
thanks!. . i guess, combined with the information of including files, i will get what i want. . hopefully!!. . hehehe . .if not, i get back to you and start getting annoying . . ;o)
