In developing my site I am trying to take advantage of the file inserting and recursion. I have made both my title bar and my left hand navigation menu as separate .dhe files and I am inserting them into my main page. Then, I had an idea for duplicating frames by using the event of the various buttons to display the label containing the main section of text relating to them. This would work fine if it were not for the need of extra buttons, menus, etc. on those other parts. The only way I could see that it could be achieved is with the ability to hide/show various .dhe files as an event. Then I could change the main section to whatever .dhe file contained the appropriate content. Is this possible, or is it coming in v2.0, or is it not possible to do?

You can make your site in the follow mode:
1- after you have created the menu and the header insert it into a blank page
2- save this page (that contain 2 others .dhe file) as a template for every page in your site
3- copy and paste this page and add the content of the first page and so on for all pages in your site.

The next version of Dynamic HTML Editor can manage "container" objects so you can insert into them some object and show/hide only the container.
