My IE 9 shows no scrollbars,no grey background image except for a brief millisecond when changing pages. Website is not centered [off to the left] also jumps to the right [to where it should be/centered] when changing pages--shows grey background for a second and ends up on left side with no grey background color

not showing scrollbars in FF either but if I put my mouse where it should be it shows up--this may be particular to my computer--it sometimes happens [win 7 ult 64]. usually if I reboot it shows the scroll bars might be a shut down or start up issue
also you have that same problem that someone else had on this forum where the text ran on too long at the bottom of the page this is FF 10.0

Davide, what can this be? I used the option 'always show scrollbars', can this cause the problem?
I can reproduce the problem myself but I have heard from 5 people now, so there is a problem!
ps Joneq, are you're using Windows 7, 64 bits? And IE9?

yes
btw the jumping to the right thing does not happen on my other computer so it might be a hardware issue--but still no scroll bars |

I believe this is a sort of a fix for the problem:
<meta http-equiv="X-UA-Compatible" content="IE=8;IE=9" />
Joneq, can you please check the site again? |

almost there.. it seems that the scroll bars remain gray till you actually click on them then they turn blue--this happened on both my computers with windows 7--one ultimate 64 and and the other 64 pro.

Toon,
I checked the site today and found some small issues: 1- in some pages the content text is not aligned in the same way (for example page home and verhuur) the led schermen and the led scherm verhuur is aligned in a different way, you should use vertical guides in your site
2- some pages are wider than others (content vs over ons), check on the right, use vertical guides ;-)

Thanks Davide,
I noticed that too and I will fix this.
But... the problem that some people with IE have can't scroll is a much bigger problem. Can you look into that please? |

Toon,
here at work I'm using IE9 under Win7 32 bit without problems; every page can be scrolled and the scrollbars are perfectly visible on the right side. At home I'll test it using IE9 with Win7 64. |
