Hi all,
After installing 5.9 update to version 6.xx the DHWE.exe proces stops, and ther's no reaction from de program process "DHWE.exe", after opening multiple(2or3)*.dhe files. Killing the process is the only solution. The update of all *. dhe pages etc from 5 to 6 I have done. Version 5 works fine with my backup, so i can work. But of course i want to use a stabel version 6.
I use Vista home edition, F Secure Anti Virus.
What could be the problem?

| IMO the problem is the Antivirus, try to temporary turn it down / disable it / unistall then retry and let me know. |

Davide, thanks for your quick response.
Version 5.9.2 works perfectly. Version 6.0.77 starts, but after importing the project created in version 5.9.2 in Version 6.0.77, 6 stops after loading (random) one or multiple files *. dhe, made in version 5. The page (*. dhe files) than opens in a left right corner of my screen. F-Secure has been deinstalled. Laptop rebooted. The only way to proceed is closing the file DHWE.exe.

Quite strange,
the problem is not related to old files as they are converted automatically when you open them.
Maybe the files you are opening are full of images.
Have you tried to open a file at once? |

Hi Davide, it's driving me crazy;-). The older versions function perfectly. Uninstall of DHE without F-Secure has not helped. On every page that is not loaded there is one picture. There is only one way to go i think. And That is to delete Those pages and make new ones in version six, with CTRL C CTRL V Using content from version 5.XX. But Still it is a strange phenomenon. If you have other ideas, please post!

Very very strange... versions are completely compatible...
Send me a .dhe file that is giving you problem and I'll check if this happens in my pc. |

| Hi Davide, how can i send you the file? Mailing from the Forum is not possible (not enough post). I use Dropbox but i rather don't paste the link here. What i see is, that when i use a file that works the path to that file in the up left corner. The files that are not working say NewfileX X X for 1 or 2 etc. and are using 1/4 of the screen but they are in the same directory. |

The file arrived and I was able to open it; it contains a small photo of a massage and a small text. nothing strange IMO.
Try this:
- close all your open files
- close the DHE project (Project - Close Project)
- using the "Open File" try to open that file

Davide, it was a master-page issue. After relating al files to the master-page by using the batchmanager, I was able to open the files. Your last post about the missing master-page triggerd me. I think I did some thing wrong in Version 5.XX. Thanks for helping me troubleshooting this.
