Hi, Davide:

As far as text formatting is concerned, please consider these for future implementation:

1) Formatting copying tool;

2) Remove or discontinue text formatting command option;

3) Currently, as it seems there's no way of removing text background color once the user chooses and sets one - so please, include this in the wish list;

4) Grouping objects together is not possible yet, so as to move them around at the same time, right? So please give some thought...

Thanks.

Hi,

1) I don't mean copying and pasting HTML "formatted" text FROM, say, a given external html page or an RTF document, TO a DHE document. I understand this is not possible, although IT IS, TO AN EXTENT, WITH SERIF WebPlus WYSIWYG HTML editor. I mean transfering formatting to text components just like it is possible in Microsoft Word and other WYSIWYG HTML editors (copying and pasting formatted text WITHIN the document itself), by using a copy format brush tool (OK, not implemented yet on DHE, but which is officially called Format Painter by Microsoft) or some similar tool/command option.

2) Well, I know the user can TEMPORARILY group objects to move them around together, but I didn't mean this - I meant grouping them permanently and locking them together as such for as long as the user finds it necessary.

Thanks anyway. I hope to hear about this from Davide.

1) Why are you saying thay copying formatted text into the editor is not supported? Yes it is supported; try to copy and paste text into the label editor ;-) please give me a sample and what you are doing.
2) You cannot (as Word) remove the formatting; only change it
3) In the label editor press the "T" button and the text will return "transparent"
4) The layer object serves for this purpose

Hi, Davide:

Thanks for your attention.

1) Actually you mean is just PARTIALLY supported, right? Copy text and paste text from this page http://mchal.heliohost.org/indexxx.htm into a text label control and see the result.

2) Ok, thanks. But please consider implementing this, will you?

3) OK about the T button. Didn't know about it. Sorry.

Regards.

Ok I understood what you mean; Word is able to paste formatted data because it knows exactly the method used by Internet Explorer when you press the "Copy" button on it. Because they are two different programs comunicating. I'll check it.
