I want to put all of my images into a separate directory, because I have different directories for different languages, and I don't want the images in those directories.
Obviously, the image directory has to be uploaded when I publish.
How do I do this in DHE? |

When inserting an image you can link to a specific image instead of embedding it. |

As Toon said you can use the "Picture Reference" object for linking files or you can create subprojects so every subproject will have its own "files" folder. |

I have 5 subdirectories in my project (/en, /es, /it, /de and /fr). I had nothing in any of the subdirectories with the exception of /en, which had my 5 .htm files. I went to my site and cleared all of the subdirectories, with the exception of /en (/en has the files I am currently working on, nothing has been translated for the other folders as of yet).
I have a folder called Images, which contains all of my .png files used in the project. I listed that directory on the Project Properties -> Additional page files subdirectories.. Included in this Images folder, are not only my original .png files, but the same images renamed by D.H.E.
I then did a publish all, and an export all.
When I go to my site, I see the images in the Images folder (along with the D.H.E. renamed images), and those renamed images are replicated in the /es subdirectory along with some .htm files (the only things in the /en folder are the .htm files, which is the way it is supposed to be).
Sure hope this makes sense. Basically, images are being exported into the /es folder on the site where they should not be, along with .htm files from the /en folder. |

Davide: I'm sorry, but it's working correctly now. I think it had something to do with the menu I created. Sorry for the panic attack! :D

I suggest you to put your "original" images into a different folder that the "files" folder used by the program when exporting ;-) |
