I just installed the trial version 5.0 in Windows XP. When I open the program this error occurs (in Dutch):

Meaning something like: "The recent language choice is not appropriate for this version of Dynamic HTML Editor. Problems and errors can occur!"

What is causing this problem and how can I solve it?

In the settings of the program the language is set on: 'nederlands.lng'. So this seems to be ok.

I did not yet uninstall version 4. It is in another directory and on this forum I read that both versions can be run without problems.

Regards,
Marloes

No problem at all Marloes. Using the 4.* DHE and choosing the nederlands.lng makes DHE 5 think you want to use the nederlands.lng again. Well, this translation was for DHE 4.* and it not yet ready for DHE 5. I started to translate allready, when I'm ready I'll send it to Davide and I wil publish it on my site. I allways hope for comment from the Dutch users.
To solve the problem? Choose the English language or just ignore it. If DHE doesn't find a translation for a certain word, it will simply choose the English version for that word.
I hope Davide will confirm this.

Bye,
Londen.

Thank you for this quick reply! I understand what the problem (or actually: no problem) is now and will just ignore the error notification untill the new translation is ready.

Marloes

Yes, the translation module is not completely translated so D.H.W.E. makes an alert ;-)
