Hi,
check my site www.dmsnorge.no
It's working properly on Vista pc's, but seems to have problems with XP pc's.
I use a masterpage that automatically centres itself.
Is this a common problem, and can I do something about it?
thanks,
regards,
Gerwin |

I'm using XP with Internet Explorer 6.0 (very old) and your site works perfectly ;-) |

thanks, but this i a screenshot from my wife's pc, and there the labels aren't shown correctly. Could it be because of a different resolution?
in that case, how can i prevent this from happening?
check this:

Try exporting the text as 'Exact' texttype. |

Hi Gerwin,
Did you check this problem on more than one XP-pc? It's hard to believe this is a problem caused by Windows.
It might be a browser or screen settings problem.
I noticed the same problem with exactly the same template you used, but only on my iPhone (safari mobile browser). The text in the top menu bar does not allign properly, like in your picture. I checked your site in the pc-version of Safari. No problem there. For me this proves it is a browser issue.
Please check it on other XP-machine(s). If it persists i will be glad to do some more investigation.
Bye, Henri B. |

@gerwinquak,
you simply need to make labels a bit larger; you can try also to enable the "Fix font zoom etc..." in the page properties ;-)

Hi,
Thanks for your replies. I didin't check all XP pc's, but it happened on 1 xp machine, and because of that I checked 3, 4 others, ending up having the same problem.
On the masterpage, the check and fix browsers font zoom is already enabled.
The problem isn't just the size of the labels, but at the top, the labels overlap the vertical lines. So, it seems the page isn't adjusting right?
any other suggestions? |

As Davide suggests...make your labels larger or adjust your font size. You can't put two liters in a one liter bottle. |

Ok, this works on the labels on the pages, but doesn't work on the masterpage. I've tried to create larger labels but the only solution was smaller fonts.
