When I look at my website on the home page in IExplorer, the french characters come out well:
Fran?ais:
Ce site est d?di? ? r?pandre Aquaponique en Europe comme nouvelle m?thode ?cologique d?agriculture renouvelable.

when I look at it in Firefox, a lot of gibberish is showing:
Français:
Ce site est dédié ? répandre Aquaponique en Europe comme nouvelle méthode écologique d’agriculture renouvelable.

how can I solve this?

Try to use the "UTF8" encoding (set it in the page properties)
