I have a site with a prototype script on it; www.flowcomputerservice.nl

The script is used to scroll smoothly to another position on the page.

Now I'm working on a new site and I want to use the same script but now I can get it to work anymore???

Has something changed on the export function that can cause this?

F&^k!

I just found out that be removing one little line of code the thing works ggrrrggrg

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN"

This was the original doctype, when I removed "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd" it worked.

Just wasted an entire afternoon :(

The second line of code has been added in order to fix another problem experienced by another user.

What script do you used? This seems to be quite simple to do with javascript... and should not cause any problems...

I'll put an option on the next version in order to avoid the generation of this second line because it is causing other problems...

prototype / scriptaculous

Now that I know I have to remove the second line it isn't a big problem.
After all it's only one page.
