Many years ago I studied the WAP protocol, actually D.H.E. is not compatible as WAP is very limitating and new phones always support full HTML protocol. |

Sorry for late reply, was on holiday [2 H:)].
Thanks for all ideas and tips! So a short resume for this little "project": The wap-protocol is'nt an option (as Davide mentioned, limited and not used by many people and most mobilephone's are fully html compatible). So I built a "little" website in a "try and error" mode (see: http://www.indooraction.nl/mobiel). On my Nokia N95 it works fine but I weren't able to test it on other phones so if anybody has internet on his phone, please try this site. Comments are very welcome, especially about size of the site and loading time.
Greets,

Hi everybody,
Thanks for your tips! If anybody is interested my "mobile website" story till now:
1) I've build a small website (html based, most used by modern mobile phones) with DHE and put this site in an extra map: (http://www.indooraction.nl/mobiel). 2) I used a maximun width of 230 px (that works well with my Nokia N95) 3) Everything works ok but their are some small "problems"; If you make a standard textbox in DHE, the font size is always the same when you look on the Nokia. When you use a graphical text box you see the desired font size on te phone. 4) Everything further works the same as in a PC browser (java, flash etc.).
Attention: I tried it only on a Nokia N95 (8gb). I love to here from somebody how it works on other mobile phones!
Regards,
