I insert a template D.H.E. page as background.
I then try to copy a menu (with mouse-over events) to this page but then the mouse-over events will not work anymore?
Am I doing something wrong?

What I did was create a .D.H.E. page and placed text on that page to act as a navigation menu. I didn't bother with templates, or that stuff. Then I copied the text and stored it somewhere out of the way on the .D.H.E. page. Mark it invisible and place the links on the first set of text. That first set should also have the rollover action. So, to put it in a nutshell: 1. put text where you want the navigation to be 2. copy that text and place it somewhere out of the way, marking it invisible. 3. put the action and rollover events in the original text. 4. on other pages, just click the green arrow and do a copy into that new page.
Works like a champ! Check out www.spokanetribalcollege.org if you want to see it in action. |

@rmmarsh
I have absolutely no idea what yo're talking about [2 H:)]
@Davide Well, there's something not working properly.
I'll make an example file and send in it to you. |

Sorry, just trying to help... I was trying to say I don't use templates, just plain ol' .D.H.E. pages. I put my menus on one I call masterpage.D.H.E. and insert(copy) it into the other pages.

Using plain ol' pages is what I do all the time.
Making use of a template makes sense when you have the same 'background' on all of the pages.
Just like you I have a menu on a 'menu page' that I copy en and paste on all pages.

I guess we are talking about the same thing, just different symantics... I call it a master page, you call it a template...
So, did you ever get it working? |
