Dear everybody,

I just wanted to write a note. I haven't been on for a while, because I was so busy building my website with DHE 1.9. And today I'm here to thank all of you for your help and support. Had it not been for ya'll (and DHE!) I'd never have had a decent website. But now here I am, with a website three hundred times as wonderful as I expected it to be! So, a big THANK YOU! Here you can see the finished version:

Hello Maia. It looks very nice but I want to make one final suggestion. Try to center the pages. The page is now visible on the left of the screen leaving a lot of empty space on the right. Centering just makes it look a little better.

Beyond that it looks excellent. Post it in the right forum part

Oh I forgot one remark.

In the top left corner you have the word/letters ACE. It would be a good idea to make that into a hyperlink to the homepage.
I know you already have a link to the homepage called HOME but often the logo in the top left corner on sites is an additional link to the homepage.
I am so used to it that I just clicked on your ACE[2 H:)] but obviously it didn't work.

Excellent site..very creative. I would agree with Martin1. The format of your design begs to be centered...or at the very least fill up that empty space with a nice background or some other content.

good site!

@all with DyHE 1.9 is not possible center the pages (I believe)

@anima3 look RoolOver on "Home". On the rollover image the text "home" is not center.

thanks for the input, nope, can't center the page on DHE 1.9 - wish I could, sadly! - and arov, you are right, my star is not centered... GRRRR! I'll try to fix that when I have time.

Good idea to put a link on the ACE, thanks!

Yes you can centre the web pages. Just insert some code at the start and end of each page:

<BODY>
<CENTER TABLE ALIGN='center' WIDTH='xxx' STYLE='position: relative'><TR><TD>

-- content goes here --

</TD></TR></TABLE><CENTER>
</BODY>

Job done. You must put the page width as "xxx" to ensure it works okay.

Regards.
Stephen.

Search for my centering solution in the forum. It is somewhere and that will work.
