Hello Davide (or anybody who knows the answer),

Is it possible to install DHE 1.9 and 3.3 on the same PC. I use 3.3, and a friend 1.9. Sometimes he wants explanation on 1.9 so it would be nice if I could do the same as he while we are on the phone.

I can imagine that both versions think that a .dhe file is connected to that version. So something like: first uninstall 3.3, then install 1.9 and then re-install 3.3? Or will I encounter serious problems?

Bye, Londen.

Hello Jan,

Yes you can install the version 3.x and the version 1.x in the same PC, but be sure to install them in different folders ;-)

I have had two versions on my machine for a while when I was test driving one of Davide's new versions.
If you install it in a new folder I don't think it would a problem.

I can't remember however what it was that I did exactly but I assume installing into a new folder (with a different name or on another partition on your harddrive) would do the trick.

By the way Davide is still away and won't be back until february the second.

Martin
