With an MP3 in a audio-object (auto-start)I play background-music on my web-site. This works fine.I want to give the visitors the possibility to switch the audio off/on by mouse-click on a 2 picture-objects. This does not work. I.E. says "error on page" as an equivelant of "error on page".
Is there a solution to solve this?

I'm really positively surprised, FLASH seems to be the solution. I understand you've made a .swf file wich plays the music. Is there a way I can get this? Or should I learn FLASH ?

If so, I can?t help you
I can do wonders in flash! ( meaning adding Flash generic)
But:
Your thing will "only" work in some IEversions and nothing else!! (Opera & FFox..etc..njet all over)[3 :-H]
That I can't support [3 v]
I like it to work in all browsers
Maybe Davide knows a solution, or you can look for some rare working java?who knows? [2 puppy]

Btw if you change the clown and blue buttons from PNG to Gif, the wacko, ugly, annoying black squares, on your site (IE) will be gone 2!
Since they are not to big, the quality should still be okay [2 H:)]
You can do this, directly within DHE, in the picture prop. > export options

That's more then I hoped for, what you want to do.

I do not want to add anything to my site, the music must autostart and further it must be stopped/started again by mouse click on the 2 blue pictures (top,right), so there's nothing to color-match.
If you have another idea, please let me know.

Thanks for your answer, but i've tried this already. The thing is that autostart works fine, but not the stop/start thing.

With Dynamic HTML Editor 3.3.23
Insert file audio on your DHE page (Audio1).
Select Autostart=true.
Select Visible=false.
Create or insert picture-objects for audio=on (Picture A)
Event for Picture A : onclick, play, Audio1
Create or insert picture-objects for audio=off (picture B)
Event for Picture B : onclick, stop, Audio1
Try the page.[4 |-|]
