Why is this screen:

so long viewable?

Did you change anything Davide? Because in previous versions it never was there that long (if at all).

It just stays in place to long. I already start working when this screen is still viewable. Can you do something about it?

Regards,

Martin

Looks like a very pretty girl Davide.

Romina doesn't sound Italian though. Sounds kinda Russian. Maybe because the word sounds and looks when written like Romanov.

Thank you for these words Davide! I appreciate you calling me a friend and hope you don't mind that I see you in the same light.
You know where you can reach me if you need more help with DHE[3 up].

Take as much time as you need, there is no hurry with anything, the program is more than excellent the way it is and your "official" work comes first of course. Hell, we all have to pay the bills so we all understand this.

Your starting to sound like a work aholic[4 =):)].
Be sure to also enjoy the occasional free time to go out with your girlfriend.

Your friend,

Martin

There is the "gfx canvas" object to finish and folders for the project manager ;-)

@Waldorf
As usual Waldorf, I don't have a clue what you mean...

@Martin
I think that bothering Davide with something as trivial as this welcome screen is 'not done'. It shows little respect to him as maker of software that we all like to use. That you feel offended is too bad, but that's just how I think about it.

@Davide
Sorry for this mud throwing at your forum.

@Waldorf
I still don't have a clue what you mean ...

Whatever..
Martin1 Posted - 19 Dec 2006 : 19:04:20
I think so and if you don't like it just don't answer. It's not mandatory to respond to my post. If you think it's a stupid post ignore it an move on don't insult people.

If it bothers Davide he can always remove it and contact me off list. It's his forum so he's the boss.

So you open the program and have to wait 3 seconds...

... and this is enough to open a topic about???

Martin1 Posted - 19 Dec 2006 : 12:14:20
Hmmm I found that rather insulting. Probably not meant insulting but I found it insulting nonetheless.

I am only giving my opinion so this product can get as good as possible and in regards to this screen thing I was just surprised it stayed in sight this long because in previous versions it didn't.

Never knew my words could be construed as being a pain in the ass.

Anyone who knows the italian word for 'zeikerd'?
Martin1 Posted - 18 Dec 2006 : 17:50:41
That's about 2 seconds to long.

I can do without it and 3 seconds is just to long. I know what to do when I open the program and start working immediately but the screen gets in my way.

As you can see here:

I have already opened three pages and still this screen thing is there.

Can't you reduce it's visibillity to 1 second?

( It's almost time for celebration [4 :!!:] I am 1 post away from the devine number 400. Man I am a busy little poster[4 =):)])

Martin
Waldorf Posted - 18 Dec 2006 : 15:15:56
here 2.5 seconds
The last version is slower (just open/insert a picture) :-(
s.dav Posted - 18 Dec 2006 : 14:44:27
It is visible for about 3 seconds ;-)
