I have a weird issue going on. I have a page on which I placed a layer.
On top of that layer I placed a standard rectangle.
Both of these are positioned absolute.

Now when I try to place an image on top of the standard rectangle the image can't be seen and has been placed underneath the standard rectangle but on top of the layer.

So the image is placed between the two.

For an example of what I mean download the following dhe file and try to place an image on top of the blue standard rectangle.

How can I solve this problem?

Hey Waldorf !

Why I'm asking you that ?
I'm looking for someone to do a logo for my website.
You can see my site here : http://www.helloningbo.com
If it's too long as you're outside China (we've got a very strong country firewall), you can try http://www.easyningbo.com (a mirror in the USA)

I did the logo on top very quickly at the beginning.
Now I would like to have something pro made by a young artist...[3 v]

I don't know if you have any advise for me. If you could do that work for me I can manage to transfer some fee from China.

Maybe we're here off subject so that you can contact me by email.

Thank you.

Barry

@Dav.
Since Martin didn?t say ?in the layer? but on top of the blue rectangle?
A blue rectangle, that itself, is ?NOT? in the brown layer ..but also on top of it (otherwise this problem could not happen) >>>blablablllhhh?I?ve assumed that?.. blablablllaaahhh [2 H:)]

@Martin1
?IF? you want > both the blue rect. and the picture ?IN? the brown layer

Select both: pic & blue rect.
Cut
Select brown layer
Paste
Now when you move the brown layer, "All" will move with it [2 :D] (and "mutually" stay in their places)
mousedragging into a layer doesn't work, only C&paste

thnx Waldorfken [3 yes]

Thank you Woldorfio and thank you Davide!

I used both your solutions. I just cut and pasted the standard recatangle in the layer and that seems to solve my problem[2 H:)].

I am again a happy camper:-).

Just one more thing.

I LOVE THIS SOFTWARE!!!!!!!!!!

Hi Waldorf !

You mean you're a Designer ? Do you do this virtual box using Photoshop or another software ?

Thank's to tell us more !

Probably I've found your "problem"...

As I can see in the file in your site you have not placed the rectangle into the layer (in fact if you move the layer the rectangle stays in its position).
I suspect that you've drawn the image into the layer but the rectangle is out of the layer so it's impossible to move the image over the rectangle.

How to fix this problem:

a) place every objects into the layer

or

b) place every objects out of the layer

@Waldorf
What Waldorf does in fact by cutting and pasting the object again is to remove the image from the layer and paste it to the page (but not into the layer) ;-)

Hi Martin1

I'm just making a superb virtual software box for a client,but I'll help you anyway [2 :D]

I've encountered that problem a thousand times, but there is ?A? solution!
When you place the image, you ?only? see the selection of it,
1 > click on it
2 > cut
3 > r?-paste,

Your problem should now be solved [2 H:)]

thank you Waldodorfken [2 :D]
