Why, when I try to resize a standard rectangle or any other thing, by draging one of the sides, does it move not one pixel but always several pixels (5)?

The same goes for dragging something. It will not move just one pixel but always 5 pixels.

Very annoying.

I checked out something else. If you change (and now I have to translate from the Dutch windows version) the speed of the mouse pointer to very slow, you can actually move by 1 pixel at a time.
On the other hand, you don't want that. You would need a mousepad from 1 metre by 1 metre.

I had already unchecked the options Align to Grid (checking it would make things obviously worse because it would then use the grid to move stuff and the grid can at minimum only be set to 2 pixels so I assume you meant unchecking them and not checking them).

Strangely enough it was the setting Use automatic guides that needed to be unchecked. Now it works perfectly.

Maybe you have to check your options.
- "Tools"
- "Options"
- Tab "Grid"
- Check "Align To Grid" and "Show Grid"

If you switch them both off, it still moves a bit "bumpy", but not 5 pixels each time. "Position" and "Size" in the object properties are 100% accurate of course. Or maybe the align tool on the bottom does the trick.

Maybe this helps you,

Bye, Londen.
