Posted - 10 Sep 2006 : 13:46:56 Hi,
when I use Png files (some) people say, still seeing black squares, on page-load! I saw them, 2 years ago, but with the new "Png support files" from DHE, everything seems to be fixed!
I do not see them any more ..what about you?

Thank you very much Waldorf'ken

Posted - 14 Oct 2006 : 20:03:36 Yes, it's normal because someone can export a single page using the PNG32 support and another sinple page avoiding the PNG32 support so the file 'png32.htc' is created everytime.
The 'blank.gif' image is needed by every D.H.E. page ;-) |

Posted - 11 Oct 2006 : 15:56:26 Hey Dav That I knew, but actually my question was >> Is it normal that ,even when ?png32 file support? is not checked, in the export manager, DHE still puts one in my folder? [2 (==)]
quote: See that both .gif and .png standard use 256 colors when the image is transparent.
heu, where can we check that? [2 ?:-|]

Posted - 11 Oct 2006 : 13:37:30 In order to preview your pages without the png32 mode simply act on the program settings. For the project you have to act on the project export options.
See that both .gif and .png standard use 256 colors when the image is transparent. |

Posted - 11 Oct 2006 : 11:09:31 @dav How do I export in standard png mode? Whatever I do, DHE put "always" a PNG32 supp. file on my desktop![2 (==)] Is this normal behaviour!
@pet.. ..about Gif ..Okay but quality is gone also [3 0-70][3 OO-7OO]

Posted - 18 Sep 2006 : 10:31:19 The only solution in order to avoid black rectangles when loading the page with IE is to avoid PNG32 support so D.H.E. will create only standard PNG images. |

I also think, it is the slow'ness of the internet connection, or a very old / slow PC, that is behind this phenomena!
I really don't see them, my clients > do...[2 H:..(][3 OO-7OO]
p's I only use png, when I really need a traparnnt bckgrnd.

Posted - 11 Sep 2006 : 09:16:17 I don't have this problem on my sites and I use to much png format, but I'm use ADSL 640K for open it. Perhaps with slow connection is seen more "Black squares"...?
Little solutions:
1)don't consider it ;-)
2)You can use other type of images (jpg, gif) when open the page for the first time and load the png images hidden
3)You can create png image and export .dhe file. In the export files search the image, open with any editor of images and save it to other type gif,jpg... if you don't have to much color in your page is good solution. Replace png images with jpg og gif images.
Use first solution... [4 |-|]
