As I knew and continue to know little about website building, please excuse me but I'm sure I must have set something up wrong orginally when creating the pages you can find located at: http://www.waycoolmemories.com
They are very slow loading due to a number of factors but the one things that I can see that seems to me that could be changed is all of the repeated png's getting renamed with the beginning of the name referring to the particular page that it is associated with. As it is the same png (from template), why doesn't the program use it with its original name?
re: "files/occasions_rrect4.png", "files/index_rrect4.png", why not "files/rrect4.png, as rrect4.png is the same on each page
Sorry if this is confusing and hard to follow, I'm just really not sure what I could have done different so as not to force each page to re-load a lot of the same pics.

Faster way ;-)
- You can put the info for points 2 in a separated DHE file and use the Export Project Options to apply the colors to every page.
- You can use the batch manager to insert the .DHE file into every page

Nope it still will generate a stylesheet for each page including the included page which you also need to upload to the server.

Thanks so much for the responses, one final question (I hope)....what about the style sheets? I have noticed that each page generates it's own, so, when setting up this main layout page, will this stop it from generating a style sheet for each page?

There's a shorter way.
Make a template with your menu and banner and whatever you wnat to use on all your pages. Call this page -say- template01.
Make a new page, center the page, change the backround and whatever and in insert the tempate01 page. Save this page as -say- template02.
Now when you need to make a new page, open template 02, make the adjustments and insert the content and save it under the name you want. |

Well, that is what I thought I was doing by using a template that I modified using two of your templates,(Nestor Hincapie - IDNDW & your Red Sea). So, let me get this right, I will now have to rebuild every page using the following steps:
1. Select - File, New Page
2. Change background, link colors, centering of page, etc.
3. Select - Tools, Insert DHE Object (my template)
4. Make all additions to page that aren't included with the DHE Object.
Is this correct, or is there a shorter way around this?

The common parts of your site must be inserted into a separated .dhe file that you can insert in every pages. In this way D.H.E. will export the images only one time using the name of the inserted file.
You can also manually assign a name to an image using the Image Properties Dialog. |

Double-click on your pic in DHE and then the "Picture Properties" dialogue will appear. Choose "Only Link" (no export). |
