...two rectangles?

Is this possible or not?
I want create a shape like number 3 by combining shape 1 and 2 together:

The reason I ask this is because I have several groups wich contains three different rectangles on which I need to perform events. It would be nice to have to only have to this for one item instead of of three.

Just select two or more graphical objects and choose "Merge Sel. Images" ;-)

@ Davide

The merge picture option doesn't really work for me.
However, using the polygone tool works like a charm so I'm a happy camper again :)

It would be a great feature for the program!

I must be honest I am also always thinking about selling rates for you. This feature together with several others I already mentioned in another thread http://www.hexagora.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=453 is one that is very important to the more professional users amongst us.

These kind of pro features are alway good for boosting sales of DHE.

There are two methods:

1- create two graphical rectanngles without border and merge them using the "Tools>Merge Sel. Images" then apply a Glow effects with 1 pixel depth to apply a border
2- use the polygon tool ;-)

A creative solution indeed.

Not the prettiest solution though, but creative nonetheless.

I still want to put in a plug for adding the abillity to DHE to change the border properties for each seperate border.

Anyway you can add this to DHE Davide?

I found a way to work around it.
I first place the rectangles the way I want them and then follow the outlines with the polygone tool.
Works quit well actually :)

I'm afraid this is not possible. Largely due to the fact one cannot set the border properties for each border seperately in DHE. This is obviously possible in css but that would mean you will have to start creating your page by hand and not using DHE.

I hope this will be an added feature in the near future. I seem to remember asking for it a while ago.

Davide?

The only other solution I can currently think of is create the rectangles in a paint program like Paint Shop Pro or Photoshop.
