Hello,
when i open DHE you see below a gray field. When i put an object or anything in this grayfield and i take it out, there stays an echo from the object in this gray field.
You can not move it - or delete it - or change it.
Is this normal or am i as always the only one with this strange things.

Martin,
i dont get it. Several programs are loading on the second screen. I dont have to drag them to the larger screen. What can i do so that DHE is starting up on the large screen so that i do not see this grey field.

Hihihihi I just saw on the dutch forum that you solved it and didn't see how you solved so though I check here to see if you gave the solution and yes there it is .
Never knew it could be that simple. No worries Henk I make these kinds of 'dumb' mistakes all the time.
Probably an age thing;-). Old age is creeping up hahahahahaha.

Oke here it is.
When i start DHE everything is oke. No grey field on the bottom.
But, i am working with 2 flatscreens. The 1 is 17inch and the 2 is 19inch.
DHE opens on the 17 inch so i drag it to the 19 inch monitor.
And after that....yes you see a gray rectangle on the bottom of the screen.
I am very sorry and also a very big egg. Did not noticed the change bevore.

Could it be an external program that puts a clipboard in DHE.
I know of extensions for XPress, the DTP program i work with, wich places a clipboard on the left side of the screen in wich you can "store" objects you copy and paste.

I don't see the grey part you are talking about Henk.
Henk ik zie dat grijze stuk niet hoor bij mij dan in ieder geval.
Ik begrijp het ook niet geheel.
Maar een grijs vlak is nergens te bekennen.

Hallo Davide,
I will explain it into Dutch, so that Martin can translate it to you.
@DUTCH: Als DHE geopend is, dan zie je je werkscherm met de linialen op een bepaalde schermafmeting. Geheel onderaan zie je NA de liniaalinstelling een grijs vlak. (ZIE IMAGE DETAIL)
Als er ook maar iets verschijnt in deze grijze sector, of het nu een afbeelding, verplaatste hulplijn of iets anders is, als je het verplaatst dan blijf je een afdruk zien in DAT grijze veld. Vooral als je een paar objecten plaatst IN dat grijze veld en je zet ze terug op je blanke werkpagina, dan zul je zien dat het object in dat grijze veld gewoonweg ACHTERBLIJFT als een echo. Je kunt er niets meer mee doen en het maakt de zaak niet overzichtelijker.
Another try:
1 - open DHE
2 - on the bottom of the screen you see a grey collored field
3 - place a vertical guideline
4 - move the vertical guideline one inch
5 - take a look at the bottom of the screen
6 - you see a part of the guideline in this area
7 - now place a rrect in this area and move it OUT this area
8 - the rerect stays into this grey area.
how is this example? Better?
