I am not getting it.

I have an include page called menu.html http://www..nl/menu.html. This page seems to be included excellent in most of my sites pages but one part of menu.html does not work good in all and I haven't got a clue as to why.

If you look here:
http://www..nl/index.html
you see the search (zoeken) option above the menu looking good. Especially look at the textfield!
But if you go here:
http://www..nl/wiezijnwij.html
the textfield is in it's original state and there is no css make up
and if you go here:
http://www..nl/tellafriend.html
the css make up is there but the field has moved to far to the right.

Can anyone explain to me why some pages work and others not?

Martin

Try this Martin...on every page where you think it shows incorrectly....While in Dynamic HTML Editor.....delete the include....save the page...then reinsert the include as the last edit...then save and export.

Can you send me two pages in HTML format completes with images/scripts/css etc?
I need a correct page and a wrong page.

Okay I solved the first two problems these were due to the fact that for the searchpart I used a relative url.

But the third question remains. The searchfield and the submit button have just moved to far to the right on some of the pages.
Well to be precise on these pages:
http://www..nl/wiezijnwij.html
http://www..nl/werkwijze1.html
http://www..nl/werkwijze2.html
http://www..nl/werkwijze3.html
http://www..nl/tellafriend.html

On all the other pages they seem to be okay.
The search is only part of the menu.html file and it is placed there by a javscript
<script language=javascript src="http://www..nl/csSearch/csSearch.cgi?js=Y"></script>

I always use absolute code to place everything. I have tried relative but then the search won't even show.

Allright I just put everything back the way it was (no more relative placing) and now the page
http://www..nl/wiezijnwij.html
looks a but better all of a sudden.

It's still not good because the textfield seems to be wider than the field should be like on the http://www..nl/index.html (this page shows how it all supposed to look) which also seems to be the case with the other pages that have the textfield and button not only to far to the right but the texfield is also wider than it supposed to be.

Hello Martin,

where have you inserted the css code? In the menu.dhe file?
Have you tried to re-export all the pages of your project and to re-publish all the files of your project?

For the 3rd problem: have you used relative positioned objects?

If you want send me the 3 pages with the project and I'll discover the problem...
