I was trying to ad an ID with a _ in it (example: martin_picture).

But the ID field keeps removing the _.

Would it be possible in a future update to stop Dynamic HTML Editor from removing the _?

I also have another question. Why can I give a name to radio buttons in the properties panel but not to textfields?
I know the texfields get the name of the ID but seeing as I can't use a name in the ID with a _ like martin_picture it would be usefull to either,
be able to add a word which contains _ in the ID field
or to
be able to give the textfield it's own name just like for the radiobutton.

Hello Martin,

first of all I've made the alphabetical ordering for the properties panel (available from the next version)

3 years ago when I made many tests with Dynamic HTML Editor I removed the "_" char because it gives problems when using stylesheets so I've removed it.

The radio button has the name property and this is used to group the options together; the options that have the same name are mutually exclusive.

The other input fields have the id property that is copied to the name also when creating the HTML page.
