Posted - 09 Nov 2005 : 06:47:10 Is it posssible to do? Entering non-Latin characters in to the label editor? I haven't found a way....I tried the text and graphical neither would accept the kanji(japanese) I pasted. I've had to make a graphic and import it to accomplish what I needed....menu buttons. |

Posted - 01 Dec 2005 : 10:42:14 Assuming you have your computer setup for japanese(kanji) and also have one of the kanji fonts installed,(msmincho.ttf,msgothic.ttf)edit pad lite should work.....you can also set up notepad the same way. |

Also the application EditPad Lite and the Pro version support the doublebit characters....might take a look at those if it would be helpful...the Lite version is free...besides it a nice editor anyway. http://www.editpadpro.com/editpadlite.html |

Posted - 15 Nov 2005 : 09:20:46 The problem is that I've completely re-made the Microsoft Richedit control for permitting me to have more properties for characters but I don't know how Japanese characters work :-( Theorically Dynamic HTML Editor should be able to use unicode characters since I've used Unicode functions... but it doesn't work as I see :-( |
