There is still a problem running Dynamic HTML Editor on Windows 2000.
I downloaded the 2.1 version of Dynamic HTML Editor but I still can't get it to run on anything but my laptop. I've tried 6 desktop machines in our office with no succcess. None of these machines have virus detection or firewalls as they are networked with only NetBEUI for security reasons. None have internet access. I have tried stopping all background services and even replaced video drivers with win defaults. still no joy.
All systems are running win2k SP4. The error is identical in all cases. After starting Dynamic HTML Editor, the program dies when you select "continue"
"Dynamic HTML Editor has generated errors and will be closed by Windows"
I have no idea why the laptop is the only win2k machine Dynamic HTML Editor works on.
DHE 1.8 does run successfully on all these same machines.

It's definitely not netBEUI. I've unloaded all clients, services, and protocols just to make sure.

NetBeui? I don't think, Dynamic HTML Editor uses only standard Windows API and some dll written by me in C language. |

Posted - 01 Jun 2005 : 00:56:46 I am running Windows 2000 pro and have no issues with the latest Dynamic HTML Editor version.
It's working fine on my machine which has all the updates (including service pack 4) and runs Zonealarm pro as a firewall and Kaspersky Personal Pro as a virusscanner.
Could it be NetBEUI?
