Hi !

Can anybody help me ? Dynamic HTML Editor crashes under WinXP when I try to change the font in a label, selecting "other" in the list. (It doesn't do so if I choose a font in the list, such as Times or Helvetica....)

Under a former installation of the very same XP, it didn't happen.
It began just after I installed certain fonts, not allowing windows to copy them into the normally preferred directory, "c:windowsfonts"
So I thought Dynamic HTML Editor crashed because it encountered a link instead of a "real" font, and I removed the links

But it still doesn't work.

I guess one of my system files must be messed up and if I knew wich one I might try to restore it from backup, or edit and correct it...

DHE is what I've looked after for YEARS, so, now I've found it, I would be really [2 H:.(], not to say [2 77:H] to have to uninstall it.

Pls pls pls a solution...

Seems to be fixed - seemingly was "comdlg32.dll" wich had been touched.

I've just tested the same with Dynamic HTML Editor 2 wich I downloaded yesterday, and it crashes just the same.

I'll try what you say, Davide, and if it works i'll tell you - if it doesn't, I'reinstall winXP

Thanks for your answer, and for your hard work.

Very strange problem...
Try to search into your registry editor the fonts you have installed:

1- press the start button and choose run...
2- write regedit
3- search the font name and delete keys (only for the fonts you have uninstalled!!!)

If this don't work I'll try to modify Dynamic HTML Editor so you can test it ;-)
