Sorry to plug another program here but this deal is just too good to pass up. Namo WebEditor 5.5 is a program along the lines of FrontPage (WYSIWYG and HTML editor) but doesn't create crappy code like FrontPage. This program had a list price of $149. A new version (v6.0) was released this year and the previous version can now be had for a steal! You can get it at Software-Blowouts.com for only $11.95 or at NothingButSoftware.com for only $19.95. And from what I've read v5.5 is actually more stable than the new v6.0 and is also a bit more feature rich. However, owners of v5.5 can upgrade to v6.0 for only $49.

While not a drag-and-drop based program like Dynamic HTML Editor, it is a very powerful program and a great tool to add to your arsenal for very little money. I've already ordered mine! I'll still be using Dynamic HTML Editor as well, but I wanted something with which I could delve into HTML more and this is perfect!

Based on the post above, I bought Namo 5.5. For about $15, the clip art alone is probably worth it and you can access some nice flash buttons. But that's about it. It creates messy code and is not intuitive to use. The templates are poor except for the very beginner. I spent a lot of time in Notepad just editing out Namo's junk lines. Dynamic HTML Editor is in a different league.

We'll I have to say that I've decided to stop using Dynamic HTML Editor in favor of Namo. (FYI - the price at Software Blowouts is now only $9.95.)

DHE 1.8 just lacked a lot of features I was needing, and I grew tired of waiting for v2.0. Knowing that Dynamic HTML Editor 2.0 was going to be shareware was disappointing as well. Namo is a $150 program (actually a suite of programs) for only $10. Even if Dynamic HTML Editor 2.0 is $10 or less it will not have all of the features of Namo so I can not justify paying for it.

A friend of mine who is much more into web development than I am also purchased Namo and has nothing but praise for it. He has used Frontpage, GoLive, Dreamweaver and others. He said that Namo has all the best features of all of them combined.

While I understand that Dynamic HTML Editor is the product of one person, and I appreciate your hard work, I have to use what works best for me, and that is Namo.
