Hello.

I recently downloaded DTE and am having a bit of a problem figuring it out.

One thing I do not understand is how to add text after drawing a text box....is this program mostly for basic layout then using the code it generates to add stuff on your own?

My apologies if this is a stupid question but I am a bit stumped.

Thanks

As herodes says draw a label and double click on it to change the text.
The text object represents an input control. You can change the text into by pressing F4 and write into the text property.
