When we update a graphical menu with new items, or even change the button styles, the updates do not push up correctly to the web server when published. Typically the buttons might update, but the mouseover images are incorrect, or if we just changes styles, nothing happens at all.

I have checked on the web server and confirmed the menu image files are not updating at time of publishing....

If you view the page in preview, it is as expected, however.

It seems after a period of time (around 24 hours at least), when we push another update, it seems to send the files correctly and the menu updates. This is very frustrating when you are trying to keep your site fresh and updated as often as possible.

Is there a way to force Dynamic HTML editor to update the image files for the menu?

We are running the latest version of Dynamic HTML editor.

I have been seeing this problem over the past year. One of my clients was experiencing it severely ie any pic I updated he would get old stuff no longer on the web server - my cache was cleared and the site looked fine, his cache was cleared and he saw the old garbage. I worked it down to it being his satellite ISP service was caching the old stuff and reserving it to him - NO BALONEY - like the old days with Proxy server cache in Corps, etc - I believe they are doing this to save bandwidth dollars and all the mobiles out there. The only work around I could do for him is to rename any pics I change out. He is a merchant site so has a lot of them changing all the time. You have to be careful to give them a new ID name that is totally new and unique - test it out and see if that is the issue. It has never been a DHE related issue and I've been using this product for almost 9 years now - LOVE THIS PRODUCT !

Its not a cache issue. We've cleared the cache. I've loaded it up on devices that have never been to that website. I have confirmed that the files on the server have NOT been modified.

This is not a problem of the program but a browser cache problem.
Simply clear your browser cache and you're done.
In the page properties there is also an option to set the cache to expire immediately but I don't know if this works
