Just started the trial version of DHE5x and imported a simple site from DHE1.9. This site was created with a gif-file background consisting of 2 toggling jpg's. I want to get rid of this very background in DHE5x but cannot find the file neither the properties of that background nor the word 'background' in the help section.
How can I obtain a clean black background ?
Greetings,

Gerard

@gerard1938,

I cannot understand what is your problem. What are you trying to do?

That's correct Joneq. In 1.9 anyway, but in v5 I cannot find 'background' nor the properties for the picture that was the my background in 1.9 previously. The webpage I'm talking about is a 1.9 one which I opened in DHE5 (trial) to do a try out.
I must say v5 is much ore sophisticated and I consider a buy, but have to solve this phenomenon first.

It's solved !
Probably not the way it should have been done but it sorted out.
a) Select all
b) New page
c) Paste all
d) Created a new (transparent!) gif
e) Inserted that gif using picture reference
May be I did not translate the instructions properly - I'm using the 'Dutch DHE5'.

I do not know it that will work completely

I searched for background in the help and found a slew of topics

one of which was the project properties where I believe you set your background

I do not have v5
