I have just upgraded to 5.8.4 and now the program will not exit with either the top right red cross or exit from file menu. Everything else is, as far as I can tell, working fine. I will try un-installing from Control Panel and reinstall. Will report results.

disconnect from internet turn off all security and try again--just to eliminate that as cause
windows 7 what--home, pro, ultimate,32 bit 64 bit?? |

Started work on DHE today, the problem has returned. I cannot shut down DHE. Only way out is through Task Manager!
Any help appreciated.

Un-installed from Control Panel,re-booted, downloaded new install file, installed.......Yippee....all working fine now. :)
