Is it possible to insert html code on the HEAD tag? And how is it done?

You can use many methods:

1- Double click on a empty area of the page; the properties panel on the right will be shown; click on the "Custom Code" then "Header Code"

or

2- Draw a HTML Object on the page; fill it with your code then set its "Position" to "Header"
